Homoeopathic medicines, also known as remedies, are made through a process called Potentiating, which involves serial dilution and succession. This process aims to awaken the medicinal properties latent in the original substance and make them active. Homoeopathy is based on the principle that the more diluted remedy, the more potent it becomes.
Homoeopathic medicines are commonly prepared in the form of small white pellets or globules. This uniform appearance is due to the standardized method of preparing and administering the remedies. The pellets are made from cane sugar which serves as a neutral base for the medicinal substance. The medicinal tincture is added to these pellets.
Small white pellets are easy to measure, dispense and consume. This simplicity ensures that patients can take the correct dosage without confusion.
